The taxi is dead, long live the taxi!

We show the whole world as it unfolds before us in the car. The third edition of the Taxifilmfest is a mirror of the human soul. There is fighting, arguing and loving. The filmmakers take us along on their experiences and emotions whilst in a taxi. Following the first two editions of the Taxi Film Festival, which focused on high politics and revolutionary upheavals, we are now turning our attention to what really matters: the all-encompassing, intense humanity that can only be found in a taxi.

Bringing this humanity into the next chapter of taxi history is the mission of the 3rd Taxifilmfest 2026.

At the Sunday Film Brunch, you can chat about taxis and films in a relaxed atmosphere and get to know the people involved.

On the Blog you can read about the festival’s progress; we present times, themes and venues in the Programme, and information about all the films has its own section.
